    Eleazer Gedney, s/o John, bp. "15th, 3d, 1642", d. 29 Apr 1683, m. (1) 9 Jun 1665 Elizabeth Turner, m. (2) 2 Jun 1678 Mary Pateshall. 14 May 1683 letters of administration to widow Mary who petitioned 25 Nov 1784 for a settlement, "There being 7 children now liveing of the sd Mr Eleazer Gidney". The settlement gave the "widow M'rs Mary Gidney" fifty pounds, "ye eldest sone Eleazer Gidney shal have a duble portion ... ye rest of ye children six in number ... names of the children being Eleazer, Elizabeth, Ruth, Mary, Ebenezer, Edmund and Martha."
