    Elinor/Eleanor Jane McCutchan is the daughter of Joseph McCutchan and Nancy Youel (buried at McCutchan Cemetery), the granddaughter of John McCutchan, Elizabeth "Betsy" Hodge, Samuel and Elizabeth Hodge and the great granddaughter of Robert McCutchan and Margaret Callison (buried North Mountain Burying Ground).

    First, she married Robert Kerr Dunlap (3 Nov 1804 to 29 Oct 1827, per bible) on 2 Sep 1828 in Augusta County, Virginia. He is the son of Robert Dunlap and Margaret Kerr, buried at Shemariah. Names of any children are unknown. Second, she married John Firebaugh on 29 Nov 1838 and had children.

    On the 1850 Rockbridge Co., VA census, there are 7 children: Henry A., 19; Samuel, 16; Rebecca J., 14; Virginia C., 10; Robert D., 8; James B., 5 and Sarah C., 2.
