Will of Edward Warner
- Page 26.--14th May, 1778. Edward (mark) Warner's will--To wife and daughter, Marthew, all estate. Executors, John Poage and John Burnside. Teste: John Harper, Marthia Burnside, Jacob Campbell. Proved, 19th May, 1778, by John Harper and Campbell, and 21st May, 1778. Executors qualify. (Note: the Martha Burnside listed is most likely John's wife and Edward's daughter).
- Page 42.--18th August, 1778. Recorded. Edward Warner's appraisement by John McMahon, William Black, John Harper.
- Vol. 1 - NOVEMBER 18, 1778. - (382) Martha Warner, orphan of Edward Warner, to be bound, preference being given to James Patterson.
- Page 171.--15th May, 1781. Edward Warner's estate settled--3d June, 1778, vendue; paid Edward Barton.

Mathew Erwin's will: to wife, Elizabeth; to daughter, Gennet Erwin, alias Johnson; to daughter, Jean Erwin, alias Jamison; to daughter, Agnes; to daughter, Mary Erwin, alias Francis; to daughter, Ellinor Erwin, alias Patterson; to daughter, Elizabeth Erwin; to daughter, Ann Erwin, alias Anderson. Executrix, wife Elizabeth. John Francis to be overseer. Teste: James Bell, Alex. Blair, Edward Warner. Proved, 18th August, 1762, by Bell and Warner. Elizabeth refuses to execute. Administration granted John Francis, who qualifies, with James Bell, William Frame.

- Page 457.--9th July, 1766. David Viers' (Viars--Viurs--Via--Wivs) will--Wife, executrix, 1 bond due for John Lancaster, and 1 note of Henry Harris.--Frances Viers. Teste: Chas. Knight, Edward Warner, Adam Reaburn. Proved, 19th August, 1766, by Warner and Reaburn. Frances Via qualifies executrix (her mark), with James Beard, David Lard (Laird).
