Obituary

Hamilton Advocate, Hamilton, Missouri November 20, 1991 Ed Stone 

    Ed Stone, 90, Hamilton, MO died Wednesday, Nov.13, 1991, at his residence.
    Born at Gaylax, VA, Mr. Stone was retired from farming in the New York Community near Hamilton.  He moved into Hamilton in 1985.  He was a member of the Church of Christ at Hamilton.
    On April 9, 1933, he married the former Dorothy Basham of Cowgill, MO, in Kingston, MO.  She survives of the home.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy, who died at the age of five days, and by four brothers and five sisters.
    Additional survivors are a son, Johnny (Jimmy’s twin), of Hamilton; a daughter, Mary Jane Pelton of Hamilton; Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    The funeral was Nov. 16 at the church.  Burial was in Cowgill Cemetery.
