Obituary

Mrs. John Hall Dies Sunday

    Mrs. Florence Stone Hall, 82, wife of John Hall of Kingston, died at her home Sunday night, July 1.  She had been bedfast 19 months.
    Mrs. Hall, daughter of LeGrand and Julia Stone, was born Oct. 13, 1879, near Hillsville, Carroll county, Va.  Her early life was spent in Virginia before the family came to Missouri.
    Jan. 1, 1908, she married to John Hall at her parents' home near Hamilton.  Mrms. Hall spent their entire lives in Caldwell County.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.
    Mrs. Stone is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Leah Esteb of Kingston, Mrs. Thelma Sloan of Cameron, Mrs. Julia Jones, Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Beulah Combs of Nettleton and Mrs. Ruby Wachter of Nebraska City, Nebr.
    Also surviving are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ed Stone of Hamilton, George of Latour, Craig of Wickenberg, Ariz., and Lee of Wray, Colo.; four sisters, Mrs. Ella Robb of Hamilton, Mrs. Linnie Houghton of Kingston, Miss Moreau Stone of Atchison, Kans., and Mrs. Leona Goodnow of Seattle, Wash. One brother, Fred, preceded her in death.
    The funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon, July 3, at the Bram Funeral Home at 2:00 o'clock conducted by Elder James Campbell.  Interment was in Pleasant Ridge cemetery southeast of Hamilton.
