Ebenezer was one of four grandsons of Windsor settler William who lived most of their lives at the part of Windsor known as "Haydens." In a 1751 affidavit, he and his brother Daniel say "we have always lived about three miles from Kettle Brook, and near the house where John Bissell lived." Late in life, Ebenezer moved to Harwinton.[2]
