    Ebenezer (Brooks), b. (Concord) "21 Feb. 1670/71 [sic 1667]".
[Note: sic, because per published Concord records, it was 21 Feb 1667. However, it was recorded near a series of 1670 births. Also, Caleb's wife at the time was named Susan, she died in early 1669. Also, per the list of children shown, Feb 1666/67 would be 10 months after one and 9 months before the next, while Feb 1667/68 would be 3 months after one and 10 months before the next. Age at death suggests birth in 1670, so allowing sufficient time for his father to remarry, the first reasonable year is 1670/71.]

...(III) Captain Ebenezer Brooks, son of Caleb Brooks (2), born at Concord, February 24, 1670-1 [sic, this and several other secondary sources say 24 Feb, but it appears the original record says 21 Feb], died at Medford, February 11, 1742-3, in seventy-third year (gravestone) ; married, 1693, Abigail Boylston, daughter of Dr. Thomas and Mary (Gardner) Boylston, of Brookline ; she died May 23, 1756, in eighty-second year (gravestone).
