David Sawyers, m. 1794, Elizabeth Paxton; Alexander Stinson (1776-1853), m. 1800, Elizabeth Bradley (b. 1780). 5. William Paxton, m. Eleanor Hays (1743-1815); Francis Bradley, m. Abigail Alexander (1748-1817). William Paxton (1733-95) in 1777 commanded a company of Virginia militia and, 1781, served in the defense of the colony. He was born in Ireland or Pennsylvania; died in Rockbridge County, Va. Francis Bradley (1745-80) was a member of the Mecklenburg Convention of North Carolina, 1775, and served as a private during the Revolution. He died in Charlotte, N. C.
