- ↑ 1.0 1.1 The settlement of the father's estate (Hampshire Probate 3:2) shows 3 daughters in 1691, and the accounting in 1702 shows payments to Hannah and Elizabeth Davice (Hampshire Probate 3:96). We know when Elizabeth was born. Following Source:Holman, Mary Lovering. Scott Genealogy, p. 243, it is assumed the other two were born about 1674 and 1676, children of the first wife. Further it is assumed Hannah was the eldest, named after her mother. Elizabeth being the name of the paternal grandmother, one could speculate this daughter was named after the maternal grandmother, Sarah, but no evidence of her birth or name is known, so that is mostly idle speculation. Since she is not mentioned in the accounting, she probably died before 1702.
