    "Daniel (Hubbard)─bapt in Hartford Dec 7, 1645, d in Haddam, Ct, Nov 9, 1704. … Daniel served in French and Indian War in 1680, and rem to Haddam, Ponset District, about 1700."

    It was probably the son Daniel who removed to Haddam since he married a Haddam girl and the elder Daniel's will says he was of Middletown.

    I, Daniel Hubbard of Middletown, doe make this my last will and testament: I leave unto my loving wife Sarah the use and improvement of my dwelling house, barn and homelott, and 2 acres of my boggy meadow, for her comfortable subsistence during her natural life, and 1-3 part of all my personal estate, to be disposed of as she shall see meet. The rest of my lands and personal estate it is my will that it be equally shared amongst all my children. I appoint my wife to be executrix, and request Lt. Thomas Ward to be overseer.
