RESIDENCE: Daniel moved with his father's family to Cambridge Farms (Lexington) about 1664.

FAMILY: Daniel was the executor of his fathers (George's) will

Children mentioned in will of Daniel ADAMS, Sr. and dates from other sources include:

Daniel (Jr) b. 1678,
Benjamine b. 1680, executor of will,
Samuel (:) at probate of will appointed guardian of 13 year old
Ephriam b. 25 May 1701, and
Thomas b. 1689 in the will was given 40 acre "new field" and Matson's Field.

The will also mentions three daughters. Data on these girls is sketchy. Bates 1898 in his compilation of Simsbury town records mentions a daughter of Sergeant Daniel ADAMS m. Thomas STOREM 22 Feb 1704/05, and daughter Mary married Daniel PORTER 27 Jan 1712/13, and a daughter Thankful b. 4 Mar 1698/99. Thomas is apparently the fifth(5th) child and the fourth(4th) son.

Also sometimes listed as the son of George Adams and Frances Taylor , i.e., this man. See below image. None of the estate records related to Jeremy Adams or Rebecca Adams' son Thomas (who named his Adams half-siblings in his will) mention a son Daniel.

The published Windsor Vital Records are very confused on the marriages of Daniel Adams/Mary Phelps/Abraham Phelps/Mary Pinney. See the 1979 TAG article by Gerald Parsons for the marriage of Daniel Adams and Mary Phelps; see The Great Migration V;448 (George Phelps sketch) for the marriage of Abraham Phelps and Mary Pinney.
