Mike never married.

Mike's obituary reads, "Funeral services for Charles J. (Mike) Gladieux, 60, who died Thursday night at St. Joseph's hospital, will be held Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of a sister, Mrs. Lucy Oberly of Zulu, and 9 o'clock at St. Louis' Catholic church at Besancon, Rev. Joseph Hession officiating. Burial will be in New Haven I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may view the body at the Oberly home after noon today. The deceased was a resident of Monroeville. Survivors include a brother, Francis C. Gladieux of this city, and three sisters, Mrs. Oberly of Zulu and Mrs. Stella Venderley and Mrs. Nora Dager of near Monroeville." He is buried in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.
