Charles Clayton Baily was born in Kentucky August 15, 1816 and while living there he married Susan Ann Lightfoot who was born February 27, 1815 in Flemming Co. Kentucky.
They came to Indiana as did their parents around 1835 or so and were the parents of 11 children. Susan's parents were Robert and Johannah (Dulaney) Lightfoot. Her Father purchased land in Fountain Co. very early. Charles passed away August 29, 1870 and she on March 15, 1885 and they both were laid to rest in Bonebrake Cemetery, south of Veedersburg.
