Facts and Events
Cecilia was born on a farming estate called Carclew and her parents were married in a place called Parrranaworthal (confirmed by William Hill James' entry in the "Biographical Index Of South Australia"). Perranaworthal is the nearest church to Carclew, a facinating place at the time, owned and run by the most progressive LEMON family, multi-millionaires involved in mining, shipping, farming and industrial development. The Reynolds family obviously lived and worked at Carclew, a huge enclosed farming complex bigger than most of its surrounding villages (even had their own port there for the family company ships). |
