Catherine Stapleton was the third child and second daughter of Robert and Anna Maria. Her birth, in 1721, is found in the Trinity Lutheran Church Records. She married Simon Turk. They had at least two sons, Johan Jacob and Simon whose births they had recorded in the Moslem Lutheran Church records in Berks County, Pennsylvania in 1752 and 1756 respectively.
