A Bethiah Small (i.e., not Ellis) m. Samuel Tate in Cumberland, ME on 18 Oct 1781. See here. Thus her name would become Bethiah Tate.

A Bethiah Small (i.e., not Ellis or Tate) died in Thorndike, Waldo, Maine in June 1849 [indexed as 1850], age 79, so born about 1771, i.e., too young to marry in either 1772 or 1781. See here.
