According to the "Stovall Family Record", written by Clarence Friend, former president of the Larue county (Kentucky) Historical Society (in an excerpt I got from Mr. Jack Schroeder in 2000), Bartholomew II came to Kentucky around the year 1700. He eventually settled in Nelson (New Hardin) County.
