"The Annals of Henrico Parish and Old St. John's Church" is referenced by both Carmae M. Smith (author of "The Stovall Family in America", and Glenn M. Turnell of "The Stovall Family Journal". This book reportedly states that Bartholomew and Ann had seven children. It also documents (on page 266) the marriage of Bartholomew Stovall and Ann Burton. Smith also relates in her book that it is reported that all Episcopal burials prior to 1741 were done in Jamestown, VA. If this is true, it is likely that Ann Burton and Bartholomew Stovall were buried there.

  4.   I have seen part of a book that lists marriages from Henrico County Court records. In 1682, the entry says "Wm. Hatcher to John Burton's daughter". If Anne Burton is Thomas Burton's daughter, in my opinion, that would negate the marriage to William Hatcher.
