Personal History
Asa Levistone/Levestone,[5] son of Daniel Levestone and Rebecca (Chapman), was born 3 June 1755, in Tewksbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1][2] He died 8 May 1806, in the same place, in Massachusetts.[3][4]
Asa Levistone and Olive Peacock were married 21 May 1778, in Tewksbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay. The births of their children appear in the town records of Tewksbury.

- ↑ Asa's surname appears in multiple forms in the records. The marriage record in 1778 and his grandfather in his will in 1755 used the surname “Levistone”, in his father's probate in 1772 his brother wrote “Leveston”, and the town vital records use “Leveston” or “Levestone”.
