1864 - Aged 60 when he died, just over a month after his nephew died in the same parish. MI records his age as 61. Buried with his wife, unmarried sister Matilda and nephew James (son of Eliza). Large casket grave. Probate entry: Late of Mettingham, gentleman. Will proved at Ipswich 1 December by Maria WOMACK, widow, Matilda Knights WOMACK, spinster the sister, James Arthur ALDUS of Lingwood (Norfolk), farmer, the executors.
