The Social Security Death Index (SSDI) shows Arthur Boomhower b. 18 May 1896, d. Jan 1970; last residence 12572 Rhinebeck, Dutchess Co., NY. In the 1920 census for Rhinebeck Arthur 23 was living with wife Dorthy 21 and dau Catherine 1&4/12 at the home of his father-in-law Louis Markle 48. Also living there were his m-i-l Alice 50 and two other grown Markle children Flora 25 and Dudley 23. They may have been on Hillside Cross Rd. or close to it. We can infer from this, and the fact that Cecil was living in Hyde Park plus the info on Millard in the Wurtemburg Church story that, sometime after Frank died, the whole family moved to Dutchess County. In 1910 they were in Berne, then in 1920 in Dutchess. In 1920 Rev. William was in New Jersey and their mother Ada was with him. Apparently the others stayed behind, happy with Dutchess County, the first home of their forebearer Jacob Baumhauer.
