    Pickworth, John (-1663) & Ann [?CHANDLER]; ca 1631/2; Plymouth/Salem {Reg. 2:242-3; Warner-Harrington 373, 504; TAG 31:4; Salem 1:402; Essex Ant. 11:157; Call Corr. 16; EIHC 3:110, 232, 49:215}

    All the sources given by Torrey, except Warner-Harrington, have been reviewed. None of them offer even the guess of parents or a surname for the wife of John Pickworth. The two sources cited by Anderson in The Great Migration Begins sketch of Edmund Chandler, the Small Genealogy and Bowman material from Mayflower Descendant indicate that Edmund's daughter Anna was much too young to be wife of John Pickworth.
