[married second, as his fourth wife] Abraham Harder (b. 1765) Burwald 1806'

The question mark should probably be beside Anna's second marriage, not her first, as Schapansky makes it clear on page 435 that her second marriage is speculation.

This Abraham Harder was a son of Abraham Harder, Walldorf 1776: 1 son, Rosenort Gem.. ...
[married third, as her second husband] Anna Martens (b. 1759 or 1765, d. before 1806) ...

    14.8 Franz Harder (25.10.1805-9.4.1874) Bergthal ...
Note: Abraham Harder came to Russia in 1803, and married, I believe, the widow of Johann Siemens of Burwald. ... There is a four year discrepancy in the 1795 and 1808 dates for the Anna who married Johann Siemens and the Anna who married Abraham Harder, which could be accounted for by assuming the 1808 list should read age 34 not 39 for Anna. Abraham Harder lived at Neulanghorst GW prior to coming to Russia.'

Note that the 4 year discrepancy in ages between the 1795 and 1808 censuses cannot be explained by assuming her age in 1808 was supposed to 34, as the discrepancy is the other way - if this is the same woman, and her age in 1795 is correct, she would have been 43 in 1808.

Tim Janzen, the transcriber, notes: 'Researchers should note that "diana" is universally substituted for "Anna" in this census.'

  9. Whether she immigrated before or after her marriage, it would have been in 1789, since both her father and her husband immigrated in that year.
