IONIA - Anna Mae Winter, 79, of Ionia, died Saturday, Nov. 24, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City.

She was born Aug. 29, 1928, on the family farm near Ionia, daughter of John and Kathryn Marovets. She married Hugo John Winter in Nashua. He died May 5, 1975.

Mrs. Winter attended Chickasaw Country School and was a farm wife.

Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Winter of Des Moines and Darlynn (Herb) Decker of Nashua; two sons, Clark (Jeneane) of Jesup and Roger of Ionia; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Leonard and Leo Marovets; and sister, Helen Springer.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ionia Funeral Chapel, with burial in Cedar View Cemetery, rural Ionia. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the chapel.
