• 20 July 1768 - Andrew Johnston obtained a patent for land "on North Fork of South Branch of Potomac, near the Great Clover Lick", (as listed in the disposition below):

• 1771 - Andrew Johnston of Culpeper and Michael Ebermann of Augusta County obtained a patent for land "on Senecar Creek, a branch of North Branch of South Branch of Potowmack", (as listed in the disposition below):

Patented to Andrew and Michael 16th, 1771, on Senecar Creek, a branch of North Branch of South Branch of Potowmack. (Note: William Gragg is likely related to Andrew Johnston's wife)

   Consent of Andrew and Alsey JONSTON/JOHNSTON (given both ways) given 29 May 1796 for the marriage of Enouch ROBNIT and "my daughter Abigal JOHNSTON". Attest: Samuel ROBNET and Peter KERN.
   Marriage Date: not found in BC mg registers.
