(3) 1766, 4 Jun: Samuel Hannah and Agnes his wife, Andrew Hannah and wife Mary, all of Lancaster Co., PA, release to Joseph Brandt of Lancaster Co., PA 200 acres in Paxton Twp., warrant 25 Feb 1737 to Andrew Hannah, father of Samuel and Andrew. Andrew Hannah d. intestate and Samuel applied to the Orphans Court for appraisal. Samuel to pay widow and children their chares, and he grants 1/2 part to his brother Andrew. On 3 Jun Elizabeth Hannah, widow of Andrew, released her dower right to Samuel and Andrew. Wits. by T. & J. Moore, Mathew Hannah. (1,5) ca. 1766: Settled in Hopewell Twp., Cumberland Co., PA. (4a) 1771, 23 Apr: John Hannah and Jean his wife late of Paxton Twp., Lancaster Co., PA, but now of Hopewell Twp., Cumberland Co., PA.
