This Alexander Blair? Blair Station (Tennessee)- A settleme nt founded in 1784 by Alexander Blair to protect his wife , Elizabeth (Cochran) family and neighbors from the Indians . This settlement, at the junction of Licking River and St oney Creek, in what is now Bourbon County, near Ruddles Mil l, was known as Blairs Station. It survived until Alexander s death in 1798. An 1810 map of the area does not mentio n it, so the exact location is not known.
