Hopkinton town records show that on 6 Jan 1790 Abram and Hannah Utter deeded land to Joseph Palmiter of Voluntown, CN. This land was adjacent to their home property. Hopkinton records further show that on 6 May 1790 there was a Palmiter mill agreement between Abram and Joseph Palmiter. Abraham Palmiter's will refers to land bound by Joseph Palmiter's land. It is my guess that this Joseph, a neighbor of Abraham was the father of David Palmiter who married Esther Utter, Abraham's daughter.
