Brosius, Abraham - entered service 1776 in Berks County, Pennsylvania; granted Pension age 64 in Augusta County, Virginia, 1818 when family with wife and 3 daughters; in 1820 family with wife age 65 & 2 daughters all resided with soldier in Staunton [Augusta County], Virginia; soldier died 1/5/1833; query letter in file in 1884 from great grandson W.G. Brosius, Knightstown, Indiana, states data on soldier needed for settlement of estate in Germany; surname at times spelled Brosus. R356.
