    Abiel Richardson [#5189], s/o Jonathan Richardson and Hannah French, b. Billerica 12 Nov 1720, d. Pepperell 19 Jul 1753, m. Sarah Smith [sic, Vinton confused two men named Abiel Richardson , see note, this Abiel married Sarah Boynton]. Inventory dated 26 Jan 1754, widow Sarah administratrix. She m. (2) 9 Jan 1755 William Parker of Groton.

  4.   There are two Abiel Richardsons, who both married, less than a year apart, wives named Sarah. Source:Vinton, John Adams. Richardson Memorial, p. 533, covers this Abiel, but manages to confuse the wives, apparently thinking the recording of the name "Sarah Boynton" was an error, not a different Abiel Richardson. An article in NEHGR, p. 100:128, sorts them out, largely based on participation of the other Abiel in deeds with family members.
