    Notes the confusion of the Richardson Memorial about Abiel Richardson. Abiel Richardson, s/o Timothy Richardson and Susanna Holden, b. Attleborough 12 Oct 1717, drowned 14 Nov 1765, m. (1) 14 Jan 1742 Sarah Smith, m. (2) 7 Jul 1751 Abigail Converse. Innholder of Cambridge until 1757, when moved to Cumberland, Nova Scotia. Quotes Boston Evening Post, 24 Mar 1766: "We hear from Cumberland in Nova-Scotia, That Mr. Abiel Richardson (formerly of Cambridge) his Son Abiel and tow [sic] other Men, were lost, in going to a Place where they cur'd Fish call'd Three Rivers in St. John's on the 14th November last, the Boat being found next Morning drove up to the Stages."
