Hubach Families

Hubach One-Name-Study

I have started the Hubach surname, one-name-study as a means to hopefully learn more about one of my direct ancestors, Henry Hubach.

Bavarian Hubach's

There are four records from Bavaria for Hubach's who married in the late 1720's and early 1730's and they all lived within 5 kilometers of each other. With close proximity in time and location it does make it highly likely that they are related, possibly siblings.

One researcher indicates that maybe their parents are Johann Michael Huppach and Anna Maria Barbara from Bad-Durkheim. This appears to have some substance behind the claim however I cannot currently find anything to substantiate that claim.

Belgium Hubach's

Hubert Hubach was christened in Belgium in February 1685.

Prussian Hubach's

The earliest Hubach reference in the Rhineland, on FamilySearch.org is the death of Wilhelmus Hubach in the Rhineland during 1693.

Spanish Hubach's

The earliest Spanish reference to the Hubach name is at the wedding of Joseph Hubach in 1705.

Swiss Hubach's

Elisabeth Hubach is listed as the mother for a christening in Switzerland during 1682.
