Peter Moffat, 35, widower, on 14 Jun 1911 to (2) Mary Elizabeth Scorgie ,38, widow, d/o Robert Rabb and Mary Wheeler in Manse of Oshawa,Ont by License. I am unable to find a death of his first wife Clara.

I found the marriage of a William Scorgie, 22 who married Mary E E Rain,23 d/o Robert Rain and Mary Wheeler, I think this is the right one as the parents are according to her marriage to Peter Moffat, they married, 6 Mar 1845 (sic). Both born in Darlington Wm Scorgie and his wife Mary Elizabeth Ramm had three children. William Harold-- 12 jul 1895 Gordon Nealy 18 jan 1899 Albert George 19 may 1897 A gordon H ? died at age 7 weeks ? William Scorgie Farmer, born 21 May 1872, aged 37 ,died 7 Feb 1910, an accident A William Harold, born in Oshawa, 23, s/f Wm Scorgie and Elizabeth Rohn married Myrtle Iva Reid 19 of South Monaghan , d/o Wm D Reid and Leticia M O'Hare on 25 Feb 1920.

I questioned the year of marriage, and the source of the spelling "Rain." Following is Alice's response
Sorry, my mistake, it is 1895. and their translation says Rain, I think it might be Ram
