Jacob and Andreas Zorn appear to be likely related, possibly siblings or cousins. Some researchers appear to have combined them both into a single jumbled family with obvious problems. It is highly suggested that only primary records be utilized in adding information to these families since many internet sites contain flawed information.

Records clearly support Jacob Zorn, age 20, who arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Friendship" from Rotterdam on 20 September 1738, and Andreas Zorn, who arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "St. Andrew" from Rotterdam to Philadelphia, September 23, 1752, as two different people with separate and distinct families.

Conrad Zorn, age 36, who also arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Neptune" on 12 December 1754, may also be related, additional research is needed.
