  2. ↑ Note: Source:Torrey, Clarence Almon. New England Marriages Prior to 1700, p. 1:474, says that Daniel Draper's 2nd wife was "Elizabeth (ASPINWALL) [STEVENS] (1671-), Salem, w. Robert". On p. 2:1448, Torrey says Elizabeth Aspinwall m. "by 1693; Marblehead" Robert Stephens. Gloucester VRs, p. 1:487, show two children, Susanna b. 1693, and ---n b. 1696, so if this is right, the marriage to Daniel Draper in 1695 is wrong. We can only prove Elizabeth married Daniel Draper by 1701, but neither can we identify conclusively if Robert Stephens of Gloucester is the same person as the Mr. Stevens of Salem that Elizabeth Aspinwall is supposed to have married by the Aspinwall Genealogy, as Torrey seems to have assumed.
