Aspinwall Genealogy, p. 29, seems to be cited by many sources as the reason for thinking Elizabeth Aspinwall m. a Mr. Stevens and had a child even though Mr. Stevens remains completely unidentified, and this source presents no justification or evidence to support this arrangement.
