Thomas Townsend's wife Mary was "undoubtedly" child of Samuel and Ann Davis. Mother Ann m. (2) John Search and her will dated 15 May 1693 names daughter Mary Townsend [also notes that the will names Abigail Townsend, wife of Thomas' brother Samuel Townsend).
[Note: there are issues with this identification of Mary, namely that according to Boston records, these parents have the birth of Susanna in 1646, but she was baptized as Mary. Then a daughter Mary is born in 1660 which would make her too young to be the person who had her first child before 1665.]
