On page 53 of this volume, … on line 7 from the bottom, is printed, under date of 17 Aug. 1643, the record of the marriage of 'Thomas Reade & Prissilla Banks,' this Thomas Reade being a brother of the second wife of John Winthrop the Younger, an emigrant to Salem, Mass., in 1634, and later a colonel in the Parliamentary Army."
