Therefore, Robert's mother was evidently not Elizabeth Fraunceys, daughter of Sir Adam Fraunceys, for her sole heir was Thomas Charlton of Eddmeton, Middlesex, her son, evidently born by 1417 (Fine Rolls, May 14, 1417).
