MARRIAGE: (Samuel Freeman married) St. Ann Blackfriars, London, 14 July 1624, Apphia Quick [TAG 11:79]; she was daughter of William Quick [TAG 11:178]. They were divorced about 1644 [NEHGR 97:393], and she m. (2) before 8 December 1662 THOMAS PRENCE, as his third of four wives, and she died before 1 August 1668 [MD 6:230-35].
Supreme Court of Suffolk County, Massachusetts, file 257, Jane Halsall sues for divorce from George Halsall and cites the case of "Mrs. Freeman sometimes of Watertown" as precedent.
