Robert Greenwood Married Janet Wilkes in 1907 to whom he fathered three Children, but Alcohol got the best of him, so he left his wife and children, Leaving Janet to raise her three children by herself. Robert Greenwood seems to have had so many different jobs he would be better named as a General Laborer. during his Marriage he was a coal Miner. During the birth of his son Peter he was an Ice Cream Shop Assistant. Although he was dead before his son's marriage in 1944, the Marriage License lists his Occupation as Farm Laborer. Robert served in the First World War.
