Notes

Some sources claim that Peter Guerrant married Sarah Akers in 1830-1835 and they had son Stephen together. This is problematic since marriage records show they were married in 1842 and Census records indicate that son Stephen was born abt. 1838, some 4 years prior to their marriage date. Additional research is needed.
