Florence Miller
PLEASANT HILL - The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield for Florence Miller of Pleasant Hill, who died Jan. 4 of respiratory failure. She was 81.
She was born April 12, 1927, in Portland to Fred and Rebecca Koehler Rittenbach. She married David Miller on Dec. 22, 1949, in Portland.
She attended college and worked as an administrator at McKenzie Manor.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Melody Miller of Springfield, Carolyn Force of Tigard and Cheryl Boney of Woodland, Calif.; two sisters, Eleanor Piper of Roseburg and Betty Spier of Glendale, Calif.; and four grandchildren. A daughter, Joanne Miller, died in 1973.
