Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. Genealogical History of the Rice Family : Descendants of Deacon Edmund Rice, Who Came from Barkhamstead, England and Settled at, p. 23, says that Benjamin m. Mary Graves. This is refuted by Edmund Rice Association using circumstantial evidence. The marriage to Mary Graves appears to belong to Person:Benjamin Rice (4), not this Benjamin. As a result, all those children identified by Ward as belonging to Benjamin Rice and Mary Graves appear to belong to the couple of the present page.
