Benjamin Haddock and Susan Bennett: Family History

Susan Bennett was the daughter of Adam Bennett, Sr. and Hannah. Susan's father Adam, Sr. was formerly enslaved on Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina.

Susan was born April 13, 1886. Family Oral History states that she married, 1st, Lingard Davis. They had one son named Jerry. This may be Jeremiah Davis, who is buried in the Magnolia Plantation Cemetery. S3 She married, 2nd, Benjamin Haddock. S1

Susan and her husband Benjamin Haddock were enumerated in the 1930 Federal Census. Their household was:
