Lestina-Blumhagen

A pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Lestina near Beulah on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 27, 1930, when their daughter Hazel was united in marriage to Arno Blumhagen of Castalia.

The ceremony was performed at 10:30 o'clock, the Rev. A. Daugs officiating. The bridal couple was attended by Miss Elda Blumhagen of Castalia and Walter Lestina of Bassett, Iowa. The bride's dress was a blue georgette and the bridesmaid wore a dress of the same color.

The bride was born and raised in this community and is a graduate of Monona High School of the class of 1928. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Blumhagen of Castalia.

A color scheme of blue and white was used at the wedding dinner, which was served to immediate relatives and friends. The bridal couple leaving afterwards for a week's honeymoon visit with relatives at Bassett, Iowa.

The new home will be made on a farm near Castalia, where they will receive their friends after the first of the year. The Leader joins friends in extending congratulations.
