Wife Confusion

The wife of Anthony Low Sr, wheelwright, of Boston and later Warwick RI, was neither Frances HOLDEN (she married Anthony's son John) nor Frances EATON (don't know where that name comes from). A record in the Thwing Collection of Boston identifies his wife as Frances ARNOLD.

On 9 Aug 1676, Anthony Low, asked that "his wife Francis formerly Francis Arnold, may return without fear of being questioned or troubled in regard to her former misdeeds. granted."

A deed dated 2 March 1653/4 identifies the parents of Anthony Low (wheelwright): "with his mother, Elizabeth, a widow of John." [S2]
