my great-grandmother Leontine was born in 1865 in Kowno ( todays Kaunas in Lithuania). She followed her husband to Narva and after spending some years at Kuressaare & Tallinn she had to leave Estonia in 1939 and died in 1944 at todays Swiecie...

Kath.jpg photo [26 February 2012]

Jurgen, I noticed that you uploaded a photo with the title Kath.jpg. That name was already in use and contained another user's family photo. You would have seen the following message when you tried to upload the file:

A file with this name: (X) exists already. Are you sure you want to overwrite it? Ignore warning and save file anyway.

Jurgen, I saw the message you left on my talk page. I am not sure what entry you mean. Do you mean the instructions I wrote about adding a page for Leontine Hoffmann? I went ahead and created a page for your great-grandmother Person:Leontine von Breustedt (1). You can add more information to the page such as her exact birth date, stories, more photos, etc by clicking on the Edit link. I'm glad to help! You can add a photo by linking to it like this: [[Image:LEONTINE.jpg|200px]]. The 100px is the size of the image, you can change that number to make the photo smaller or larger.

That code will produce this:

Jurgen, they will find her "Person" page, however Person:Leontine von Breustedt (1). "Talk" pages are meant for general discussions between users. Jurgen Tuttipole is your "Username" and each User has a talk page where other users can contact them. The information about ancestors should be on their "Person" or "Family" pages. If you know information about Leontine's parents, husband, children, etc - you would add that from her "Person" page, not here. Deleting images [13 April 2012]

Hi Jurgen, You should be able to delete the photos (if no other user is watching), by clicking on More>Delete. You can also add the Speedy Delete template to the page, and an admin will delete the page for you (the instructions are on that page). --Jennifer (JBS66) 17:08, 12 April 2012 (EDT)
