my great-grandmother Leontine was born in 1866 in Tallinn.

For some time she stayed at St Katharinen and cared about rev. B.Lemm´s kids and certainly went down to Dorpat/Tartu as well

Having married she followed her husband Dr Ferdinand Hoffmann to Narva where he worked (as a doctor)

at Kreenholm

and after his death in 1916 she was spending some years at Arensburg/Kuressaare & Reval/Tallinn

But then she had to leave Estonia in 1939 because of the Nazi–Soviet Pact.

(Estonia had been the family`s home for some 200 years)

Leo died in 1944 at Baltenheim Schwetz/Swiecie.....
