If you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM and you want to replace that tree with this GEDCOM, you need to delete that tree first so duplicates aren't created when you import this GEDCOM. Click on Trees in the "My Relate" menu, then click on the "delete" link next to that tree. Please be aware that any pages in the tree that are being watched by others won't get deleted. Once that tree is deleted you can create a new tree and re-upload this GEDCOM into it. (We're planning to make re-uploading GEDCOM files much simpler soon.) If you don't think you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM, or if the two GEDCOM's don't overlap that much, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org and we'll go ahead with the import.

WeRelate's policy does not allow the creation of pages for living people due to privacy concerns. Please delete your pages for living people by clicking on More>Delete from the menu on the left. Thank you, --Jennifer (JBS66) 18:17, 7 September 2011 (EDT) Thank you for your advisement. I have deleted three 'living people' pages, as you instructed. However, there are four left in my tree being watched by others, which seems to be preventing me from deleting them the same way. Is there another way? Also, how can I show a union between someone who is living (my mother) and someone who is passed (my father)? If I simply delete this union page, then my two family branches aren't joined at the bottom.--Efoote 22:58, 7 September 2011 (EDT)
Ok thanks, Jennifer, I think I got er done.--Efoote 18:00, 8 September 2011 (EDT) [add comment] [edit] powell [27 November 2011]are u related to the powells--Doris t 12:06, 26 November 2011 (EST) Yes, I am descended through Daniel Flint Powell (1862-1935) and his ancestors since the early 1600's in Norfolk Co., Virginia.--Efoote 17:35, 26 November 2011 (EST) [add comment] [edit] [1 March 2016]Hi, i'm Amanda, daughter of Rebecca Barrett, now Rebecca Kelley, granddaughter of Barbara Morefield.
